OOC:
Nenana River 1zqwkr9

The Nenana River is our main home land. This is where the whole pack is. The river offers great access to many fish, and is far from danger. It's a safe and comfortable place to raise a pack.

Weather:
Temperature; 85
Sky's; very few clouds, breezy, sunny
Food sources; River allowing great amounts of fish. Elk herd near the river.
Enemies; Watch out fro Bears and Birds! They want our fish as much as we do. Although hunters here are rare, stay on the look out.
Hours of daylight; About 8 hours. Gives you enough time to do what you need to get done.

IC:
A alabaster vixen padded silently through the forest. Thousand different sounds could be heard in her receptors as her accute hearing picked up every little trace of sound. As each sound was heard, her ears angled themselves in that direction to be able to hear it more clearly. The Alphess didn't know where she was heading or why. She wanted to have peace, and so far she has gotten her wish and so far everything was nice and great with the pack. It was growing slow but that didn't mean it would grow larger in side. She had missed this pack over the years and was glad to see it back again. At the memories as sigh seemed to escaped her gaped open maw letting the sigh escape from her lungs and out into the chilled morning air. Snow knew it would grow in temperature soon since it was the morning, buy why rush? She decided to enjoy the cool weather as her thick pelt could help her achieve that as it kept her warm. A smile spread across her face and her sea blue orbs seemed to gleam as she watched the river from a distance. She always liked water and as if it was her instinct, the Regal quickly began to trot down the hill toward that direction. Almost like a pup who had just left the den, her salmon colored tongue rolled out from her jaws as she soon picked up her pace so she was at her full sprint. Trees seemed to blur past her as she ran at her top speed. Within a couple minutes, she was at the bank of the river, the smile still spread across her face. She then angled her skull upward toward the sunny sky and took a deep breath. She took in the scents of everything around her and once her breath was finished, she let it out with a sigh.

"Greetings Alphess."

Pitch's voice sounded from next to Snow, leading to the Mexican. "The water is beautiful." His eyes turned to the water, dazing out as he stared at the shimmer in it's color. He had decided to take a walk, leaving the pack to wander around the territory. It was a nice, even if snow still covered the ground in a thick blanket, he still loved the way the calm river swished along. In the summer, he might dare to trudge in for a fish or two, but it was much to cold now. He sat down, turning his gaze back to the vixen. "How are you this day?" He asked, his voice still stiff and serious as he asked the question. It was a serious question of course, but his emotionless voice made it more serious than ever. He strained to lighten it up slightly, he wouldn't want to make the Alphess uncomfortable....Since he did that a lot to other wolves...

Along with the other scents that surrounded the area, she caught the scent of a Mexican wolf in the area, which was familiar to her. If it wasn't, then she would have already turned around to face the intruder. But luckily it was only Pitch that had decided to accompany her this fine day. Her banner twitched behind her as the large brute padded toward her. Her cold blue gaze watched him for a minute checking his body language. To her it seemed relax, which was good as she wanted everyone to be like that. A warm smile spread over her jaws at his greeting. "Greeting Pitch. I am doing fairly well this morning. I'm mostly worried about the lack of prey at the moment, so I've been thinking about how to figure out and fix it." Snow was known for being a thinker, which she sometimes got lost in her own thoughts. That obviously could be a problem especially when she did it because she let her guard down. But luckily for her, that hasn't happened yet. Her receptors though instead of being perked toward Pitch, were swiveling around listening for any other noises in case other wolves decided to approach.

[Also treat this like WCRPG so you can post your own post in the boards ^^]

(Alright :3)

Pitch nodded. "Thats good...Not the lack of prey, the good morning." He let a little chuckle loose. "But yes, the prey is quite low..But the snow might show signs of melting, with the sun shining so brightly and no clouds in sight." The large lupe had lost weight this winter, like all the other wolves in the pack. Luckily his thick fur covered most of the damage, but not all. It would feel good to have the summer rays warm his back and to hear the racing hooves of the prey at they raced along the forest. "Luckily the pack doesn't have pups to take care of, or we would be in much more trouble." He turned back to the water. The truth was, he wasn't completely relaxed. He still worried about offending the Alphess, so he decided to choose his words carefully.

The chuckling seemed to be contajious as Snow let one loose from her chest cavity and let it exited the gap in between her jaws. Her breath came out as small clouds in the piercing cold air. It was cold in the morning, but usually was the day went on, the gleaming light of the sun seemed to push away some of the cold weather, giving the pack a little bit of leway from the freezing cold. It was indeed bitter in the winter, there was little prey, but so far this little pack has seemed to be able to substain itself. She shook her fur, which indeed made her stand up on her ivorie paws. Her banner flicked calmly behind her as it was a habit when she began to go into deep thoughts. She nodded her head though at the mention of pups, however, they did have one they needed to take care of now. Breezy. The memory of the Arctic pup made a flashback seem to play before her vision. Once he had stopped, she twitched her left receptor before she began to speak. "Indeed. Maybe later, more herds will begin to migrate through this area." The thought almost seemed to make her mouth drool. She hadn't had a descent meal in a while now, but she could deal with it.

A small grin spread on Pitch's face as Snow laughed. After that, he went deep into thought. Just thinking about normal things, he remembered the time when his old pack raced after prey and had plenty of food. His eyes went dreamy but he was quickly snapped out of his thought by the Alphess' voice. "That would be great." His voice seemed distant as he faded back into thought. The next thing on his mind was the little pup that recently joined...He remembered how sad she had looked when she was first brought in by Snow, all cold and wet. He remembered how freezing she was when he laid next to her, she had tickled his side with cold.

Snow watched as the brute laid still for a couple moments. She began to think herself as he kinda looked like her when she was thinking, the same body language and everything. A small grin spread across her features as she moved her position till she was sitting down and curling her long and fluffy banner around her tail. A yawn threatened to escape the spaces in between her albino jaws, but she stopped it before it released its heat into the harsh cold air. She then listened to the males familiar words and nodded her head. "Indeed. It would be nice to have a break once in a while." Snow sad calmly, but the tone she used was filled with what sounded like sadness. She had seen a lot of death in her days, but that didn't seem to faze her anymore as she was quickly able to get back up and start moving again. Some said she didn't have a heart. Well she had something to say to that. Try leading a pack by yourself.

Pitch had been dreaming happily when the sad ring of Snow's bark snapped him out of it. "Is something bothering yo-" He brought off and his ears shot up, turning as he scanned the tees dotting a little ways away. Finally after a minute he turned back to Snow, looking a bit sad. "Sorry, thought I heard a rabbit..." He loved to chase the little furry animals, tongue rolling out the side of his maw as the brute raced along. It wasn't a bad meal ether.

"So, Is something bothering you? Other than the prey thing." He finished his sentence before, his moment of disappointment gone.

Snow watched the brute seemed to get distracted by something. Seeing his own receptors begin to swivel in response to hearing something, she let her own perk up into the sky and listened intently to what ever might be out there, or around the area within their hearing range. However the Alphess heard nothing from the sound and only heard Pitch's voice saying that he thought he heard something. The vixen shrugged her shoulders in response honestly not caring. Then she let her voice ring clearly through the brittle cold air. "Mostly how small we are. I hear several different packs around the world hearing at how they have thousands of words." Small meant that this pack was vulnerable and could easily be taken over if they wished too. At the thought she tapped her banner hard onto the ground and raised her right appendage and began to rub the top of her head. Several thoughts began to run through her head as she thought of a solution to this problem.
